Meet Tom and Cheryl Willhoit, the owners of Sweet and Sassy Shoppe. They love what they do, and they love that they get to do it together.  

Having very little extra money for new furniture, Cheryl began repurposing furniture for their home in her garage which eventually led to painting for friends and family.  Lucky for us, that hobby quickly became a business that expanded to the Sweet & Sassy Shoppe in downtown Madisonville.  

With Tom doing the fixing, and Cheryl doing the designing, painting and selling, they have built this small business into a small-town treasure that residents and visitors love.  Which one is sweet and which one is sassy?  Those who know and love them know that they each have a little sass, and a whole lot of sweetness.   They truly love their customers and the feeling is more than mutual.  

What is Sweet & Sassy Shoppe?

Sweet & Sassy Shoppe is a home décor store that specializes in original exclusively repurposed furniture with Chalk Paint.  The Shoppe features painted and unpainted furniture for customers to choose from as well as custom paint services for your own furniture. The Shoppe is also a Dixie Belle paint retailer, offering occasional classes to teach you how to paint your own furniture, cabinets, or special projects.  

Although painting and repurposing furniture is a passion, this shop offers so much more than that, including home decor for every season or occasion and design ideas and inspiration.  Cheryl's keen eye for design has led to many Monroe and surrounding county residents and businesses hiring her to do their holiday and Christmas tree decor.
